We require an experienced software support / helpdesk Analyst with a background in supporting software applications (rather than infrastructure), who is passionate about delivering customer service to the highest standards,  ensuring all tickets entering the Service Desk are correctly triaged, resolved and/or escalated as necessary.

About the Role

The Application Support Analyst will be the first point of contact for all tickets raised to the Service Desk by clients.  You will ensure that all relevant information is provided with the ticket and provide initial triage and first-time fix where appropriate. If you are unable to resolve the issue you will ensure the ticket is escalated to the correct resolver group. 

The Application Support Analyst will also be responsible for analysing the performance of the applications along with providing ad hoc and monthly reporting on Application performance. This is a challenging and rewarding role within a small support team of a growing and friendly Warwick tech team.


About You

Having worked within a similar software support role, with a passionate attitude toward customer service resolution, you will be comfortable working as part of a growing team and have the ability to work under pressure.  You will also have the basics below:

    - Experience of working in an ITIL aligned environment

    - Some knowledge or experience with tech such as; PHP, React, Symfony, SQL

    - Experience with Google Analytics

    - Experience with Application monitoring tools (e.g – Dynatrace, New Relic, Rigor etc)

    - Knowledge of Change and Release Management

    - Understanding of Cloud-based technologies

    - Worked with API’s

    - Ability to create concise user-friendly reporting

    Ideally, but not essentially, you will have an understanding (or even better practical experience) of DevOps and Agile practices, knowledge of the Automotive industry and extensive Performance Analysis skills.
