£30,000 to £45,000 DOE + profit share & benefits
Are you looking to join an innovative team of world class Data Scientists and Statisticians? Do you have experience in computer programming, working with languages such as Python, R or SQL, and knowledge of cloud-based computer systems?
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing Summit’s proprietary Forecaster technology. Forecaster is a multi-channel performance marketing platform, which using predictive analytics, can inform retailers and brands exactly how much, where and when to spend their online marketing budget. Identifying opportunities for improving performance for Forecaster clients and ensuring Forecaster is relevant and fit for purpose, you will need to utilise data from across digital marketing, traditional offline marketing activity, client specific business data and other external feeds.
In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to work on internal and external consultancy projects, producing client-facing insight packs relating to a wide range of data science topics

Academically strong, you will have a MSc degree in a quantitative discipline such Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or Physics.
Coupled with expert programming in R, SQL or similar and knowledge of machine learning methodologies, an understanding of the digital and/or retailing environment and the associated measures of success would be advantageous.
You will be able to articulate complex problems and solutions to a non-technical audience, as this role involve consultancy projects, producing client facing insight packs relating to a wide range of data science topics.
