Join us in making a difference as a Digital Designer, which is a junior level design role, based within our East Yorkshire offices as part of our Digital Marketing team with exposure to well known global brands. Direct to Consumer (D2C) e-commerce represents a major strategic opportunity in an ever-expanding digital economy. As a result, companies face the challenge of transforming how they sell and deliver products and services online

 

About the role

As a Digital Designer, who is likely joining us early-on in their design career and looking to broaden their knowledge, you will thrive being engaged on multiple projects simultaneously. We’re smart, hardworking and rather fun - so we can offer you a challenging, interesting and rewarding place to work.

 

You will manage and prioritise your own workload, often working towards strict deadlines, and therefore a self-motivated, innovative and responsive approach is essential. Day to day activities include:
 

  • Designing web pages, online banners and email campaigns, including animation and graphics.
  • Working with internal clients in order to define the requirements for the websites and online elements.
  • Creation of branding, brand guidelines, and iconography, presenting a variety of design options to the team.
  • Being adaptable to different design techniques from illustration to photography.

Requirements

With a proactive attitude and a portfolio that demonstrates how you’ve applied this to digital design, you will have some previous experience working within a digital design role and be / have:

 

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Up to date with knowledge of current design trends
  • Interested in branding or have brand experience
  • Ecommerce product and lifestyle photography experience or interest
  • Strong communication skills and consistent pixel perfect attention to detail
  • Service orientated and dedicated to meeting requirements of internal and external stakeholders
