Join us in making a difference as an E-commerce Executive, which is a rewarding and challenging entry level role, based within our East Yorkshire offices as part of the Direct to Consumer (D2C) team. D2C e-commerce represents a major strategic opportunity in an ever-expanding digital economy. As a result, companies face the challenge of transforming how they sell and deliver products and services online.

About the Role

Working as part of a small team you will be regularly communicating with clients, cultivating a positive and collaborative working relationship via email and phone, plus face-to-face meetings as part of the wider team. Areas involved with include:

  • Implementing e-commerce activities, such as email marketing, social media, competitor and client site auditing, Magento implementations and A/B and MVT testing
  • Monitoring key launches and maintaining the trading calendar
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and e-commerce best practice, identifying strategies that are applicable to our clients
  • Supporting Ecommerce and Client Managers in analysing issues and opportunities, and implementing recommendations

You will receive on the job training to equip you with a high degree of specialised expertise and skills to ensure the e-commerce work carried out for our clients is maintained to the highest standard of quality and accuracy.


Passionate about the online world, with drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach, is key in this role. You will enjoy and be able to easily adapt to different personalities, being a proactive team player who is motivated and highly organised, enabling you to manage a diverse and busy workload. Key skills and knowledge include:

  • Previous experience within a customer service role essential, where being service orientated and dedicated to meeting requirements of stakeholders is second nature
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships, experience of networking internally and externally
  • Ideally, some knowledge or experience within a digital marketing, sales or e-commerce environment preferable
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of analysing problems effectively and solving issues, considering the long-term impact and anticipating future consequences and trends
  • Open to change and able to adapt to situations, enjoys learning and improving.
  • An aptitude for numbers to assist with learning of tracking and reporting processes
