About the Role
As Lead Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for and have ownership of technical strategy and component architecture of the Summit Automotive platform. Typically, you will work alongside Product Management, Product Design, Development, QA and DevOps to deliver architectural input to product roadmaps and blueprints, using capability modelling and maturity assessments.
You should be confident with internal stakeholders and clients to lead a discussion on the direction of the architectural blueprint of the Automotive platform, creating solution models aligned to business objectives and goals. In addition to planning and validating solutions, you will design and manage propositions and services based on technology stacks (legacy and next-generation systems).
Through the leadership of Technical Leads and Solutions Architects directly under your remit, you will operate across organisational and solution "silos" to drive common approaches and expose information assets and processes across the enterprise. The goal is to evolve the platform architecture that supports the most efficient and secure IT environment.
Reporting to the Head of Software Engineering, this new and permanent opportunity is for a Lead Enterprise Architect who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and bring a high level of strategy and governance into a start-up environment. The Automotive teams are based from central London (Soho) and Warwick, with third-party teams in Romania and Prague. We are looking for someone to be based out of our Warwick offices for the majority, with travel to our other sites as and when required.
