We think differently.  We make the unbelievable happen.  Join us as a Junior DevOps Engineer and help change the future of how people buy cars.  Technology is key to this revolution and, as we look to grow and scale in the Automotive industry, we need talented individuals to support the building of cutting edge SaaS solutions.

Today, DevOps is seen as the most efficient method for software development, integrating the development and operations teams to enable rapid software delivery.  DevOps Engineers in Automotive are responsible for the implementation of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery processes and build of client environments in Microsoft Azure, or other public cloud providers like Google or AWS.

Join the team in Warwick as a Junior DevOps and make the most of this rewarding opportunity, which would suit somebody from a PHP Development background who has a passion to move into DevOps.  Exposure to Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCS would be advantageous although training and mentoring will be provided.

You don't need to have previous DevOps experience but you do need the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and bring a high level of strategy and governance into a start-up type environment, which can already boast a list of global OEMs as Automotive clients.

About You

With a keen interest in cloud technologies and a desire to use leading practices and tools in this space to deploy high quality, end to end solutions, you will have the ability and willingness to continuously learn and adapt through doing.

Awareness of the software delivery lifecycle, CI / CD and agile/lean delivery models with the ability to spot process improvements and suggest solutions

An understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, networks/subnets, TCP ports) and knowledge of basic software engineering principles is required.  If you have experience with any of the following then even better.
