About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Platform, the Product Manager leads the Product Owners, who are the interfaces between the Client Delivery teams and Development teams. As such, the Product Manager will oversee and help formulate the individual product roadmap owned by each Product Owner to ensure alignment within the overall Summit Automotive platform strategy.
The Product Manager is accountable for managing the long-term roadmap and vision, strategically driving the development, market launch, and continual support and improvement of products, leveraging market trends and the identification of new opportunities. Key is the ability to communicate this clearly to all stakeholders and manage expectations accordingly, together with an overview of the outputs and progress of the Product Management teams.
This permanent opportunity is for Product Manager who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and bring a high level of strategy and governance into a start-up environment. The Automotive teams are based from central London (Soho) and Warwick, with third-party teams in Romania and Prague. We are looking for someone to be based out of our Warwick for the majority, with travel to our other sites as and when required.
With previous working experience as a Product Manager, managing software delivery teams within e-commerce, you will have successfully created, managed and delivered product strategies previously, ideally within companies that have mid-large tier client bases.
You will have led multiple Product Owners and be adept at managing scheduling and resource dependencies and their associated delivery risks. With strong coaching and development skills, the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders both client-side and internally, and to clearly express the connection between larger business goals and the delivery strategy, is key. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Analytical with the ability to challenge the status quo in order to drive efficiencies and adaptations to best practice. Knowledge and experience of Agile processes and principles.
