QA Lead 

Circa £45k to £55k DOE + Bens

Are you a skilled software QA / Lead with strong stakeholder and people management experience?  Are you looking to challenge yourself and make an impact within a pioneering and innovative team here at Summit?  Working from our Warwick offices where we are building out our tech capability, you will be working with our internal teams and managing a small team of QAs offshore within our third-party provider.   You will be key to building and maintaining successful relationships to ensure effective team outputs, ultimately responsible for the QA / Test Strategy and defining the QA / Test approach for the Summit product set.  You will be a hands-on QA / Test Analyst with experience of creating test strategies, plans and scripts (via automation and manual approaches), together with the ability to lead and get the best out of people. 


This full-time opportunity (50% operational / 50% stakeholder management, leadership & comms) is for a QA Lead who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and bring a high level of strategy and governance into a start-up type environment, that can already boast a list of global manufacturers as Automotive clients. 


About You 


A highly knowledgeable Senior QA or Test Analyst with previous experience of automation, working with third-party and offshore teams, you will demonstrate excellent delivery and leadership skills. You will also be comfortable with Waterfall and Agile delivery methods.   


At home with software development delivery targets associated with customer revenues, and the translation into a measurable financial return, you will have:

  • Selenium, CI/CD experience
  • BDD framework experience essential
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology 
  • The ability to document and troubleshoot errors 
  • Working knowledge of test management software
  • Experience of managing delivery of a team
  • Strong stakeholder management and internal and external facing communication skills, gained across all levels, including senior level management.

Nice to have:

  • API testing experience
  • Performance testing experience
