SEO Specialist

50k to 70k DOE 

Our dream candidate is a commercially sound and technical SEO Specialist! As the SEO Specialist, you will develop SEO strategies for high spec clients, working alongside a team of specialists within their fields. Your knowledge will be used to support delivery teams, evolve a market competitive proposition, and define how our SEO team work with other channels. This role includes mentoring and training junior SEO Specialists to provide guidance on existing client delivery strategies and opportunity for growth. This role is based in our central London office in the heart of Soho, where monthly travel will be required to our Willerby, East Yorkshire office to support with the overall Summit Proposition.

Operating at a senior level you will be an escalation point for internal or client queries, as well as supporting with client strategies - focused on implementing practical and timely solutions. You will also support business objectives for growth with both new and existing clients, finding opportunities within our current strategies, building proposals, forecasting and supporting on pitches when required.


About You

With significant background in an SEO specialist role at a senior level with the ability to think strategically with experience of current SEO techniques, e.g.:

  • Considerable working experience in a client facing environment or equivalent
  • The ability to conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, content optimisation, meta-tag creation, link development and other SEO-related activities
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HTML and Java along with a core knowledge of analytics packages such as Google Analytics, Coremetrics and Adobe
  • Usage of leading CMS platforms such as WordPress, Magento or Drupal
  • Proficiency in supporting others with performance challenges, driving insights and developing appropriate strategies
