We require an experienced Support Manager to play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of Support Services as well as significantly contributing to the growth of the department. The role is ‘hands on’ and requires somebody who can understand technical issues in addition to managing Service Desk processes. The Support Manager will be responsible for ensuring all tickets entering the service desk are triaged and allocated within agreed service levels.

Requirements

About You

The Support Manager will manage all incidents and problems through to resolution whilst ensuring we communicate effectively and in a timely manner. As an experienced Support Manager, you will have:

  • Experience within a similar client fronting support role, managing a service desk
  • A strong understanding of ITIL, preferably qualified in ITIL v3/v4
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes, specifically Incident, Problem, Change, Release.
  • Experience of successfully running major incidents
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Experience of working in an Agile/DevOps environment
