Are you a Technical Author with a developer background looking to challenge yourself and make an impact within a pioneering and innovative team here at Summit?  We are changing the future of how people buy cars. Technology is key to this revolution and, as we look to grow and scale in Automotive, we need a talented Senior UX Designer to support the building of cutting-edge SaaS solutions, with the delivery, structure and strategy being redesigned from a project-based approach to a product-led structure.

 

Pivotal and urgent appointments for Summit, Technical Authors take ownership of our developer documents and document library for the propose of illustrated how our platform operates. We work with a number of technologies, tools and frameworks including but not limited to; JavaScript, ReactJS, VueJS, Azure, PHP, Kibanna, Elastic Search, Rabbit MQ and others. Proficient technical writers have the ability to create, assimilate, and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.

 

The role involves not only documentation but also supporting with the infrastructure in which the documentation will be held.  You will be hands-on writing about software components, in such a way as to cater for multiple audiences. Communication will be key with our Engineering community, ranging from Enterprise Architects, to developers, to QA Testers.

 

This full time opportunity is for Technical Author who have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and bring a high level of ownership and due diligence into a start-up environment.

Requirements

About You

With knowledge of web applications and scaling enterprise solutions, you'll have been a developer or equivalent, ideally proficient with front end as you are back end.  With developer experience and knowing at least a little bit of everything, it’ll make you capable of understanding what goes into our platform and support with the documentation.

 

The role involves not only documentation but also supporting with the infrastructure in which the documentation will be held.  You will be hands-on writing about software components, in such a way as to cater for multiple audiences. Communication will be key with our Engineering community, ranging from Enterprise Architects, to developers, to QA Testers.

 

Analytical, logical with good problem-solving skills, adept at communicating both internally and externally, you'll likely have had experience working with third party / offshore teams in the past.
